Stars pour in for Tabassum’s granddaughter’s wedding!

She’s known to most people as Baby Tabassum, and recently actress Tabassum – looking all of 74 and as radiant as ever, welcomed her film fraternity friends at the wedding of her granddaughter, Karishma aka Khoobi with Huzaifa. The function took place at a club at Andheri.

Parents of the bride - Hoshang Govil and Hemali - looked every bit elated, as they played hosts to the guests.And there were so many folks from B-Town who came by to wish the couple. Jeetendra was there, so was Jackie Shroff, as well as Ranjit. Also present were Sonu Nigam, Bappi Lahiri with wife Chitrani, Suresh Wadkar, Anandji Shah of Kalyanji-Anandji, Pyarelal of Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Sudesh Bhosale with wife Hema and daughter Shruti, Raju Shrivastava, Nitin Mukesh, Udit Narayan, Sunidhi Chaudhan, Dr Aneel Kashi Murarka, Ashish Shelar, Asif Bhamla with daughter Saher, Alka Yagnik, Govind Namdev, Ameen Sayani with son Rajil, Ravi Behl, Naved Jafri, Ram Jawarani among other celebrities. The evening saw much merriment with music and dance.

The finale, however, was the cute interview that Tabassum had with the groom, where she helped him mouth poetry to his wife. When asked 'what next', for Baby Tabassum, her fun retort was, “I would like to be the only working great grand-mother!” Here's to that!
