Starry art show in Mumbai

This art show co-hosted by Yash and Avanti Birla, Bose Krishnamachari and Devaunshi and Dia Mehta, was indeed one with a difference.
Curated by Berlin/London-based curator Shaheen Merali, the show titled ���The Dark Science of Five Continents��� presented the works of international artists Jake and Dinos Chapman, Jon Kessler, George Osodi, Wang Qingsong, Tunga and apna Riyas Komu.
And what a crowd turned out for the opening! From society���s Riyad and Farah Oomerbhoy, Rukhsana and Mustafa Eisa, Kailash and Aarti Surendranath, Laila Lamba, Devieka Bhojwani, Anil Dharker and Shobhaa De to fashion���s Prasad Bidappa to the art world���s Pravina and Jamal Mecklai, Geetu Hinduja and Krsna Mehta... name it, and they were there!
Some spoke about the new gallery space, others discussed the range of artworks; the buzz was definitely on as the ladies greeted each other with air-kisses and ���muahs��� and the men conversed over wine and hors d���oeuvres.
