Spreading awareness in a grand way

On Wednesday, Femina urged you to wear the white ribbon at their White Ribbon Initiative to create awareness on osteoporosis.
Present to spread the word and lend their support were Brand Ambassador Priyanka Chopra, who spoke passionately about the cause, Queenie Dhody, Pooja Bedi, designers Anna Singh and Nandita Mahtani, Deanne Pandey, Sophie Choudry, Masumeh Makhija, Sonal Chauhan and Alka Yagnik.And yes, all the women wore a white ribbon. Ankit Khambati, Dr Viral Shah and Dr Duru Shah said a few words about osteoporosis as well.
In order to break the seriousness of the evening, Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal and her cast performed the Vagina Monologues, which included humourous bits on osteoporosis, and sparked off laughter among the gathered guests. Over cocktails and dinner, some laughter and lots of serious discussions, Femina combined education and entertainment in an effort to provide valuable information to the women of India.
