The father enchanted listeners with his mesmerising voice. Now, the son is all set to take audiences on another joyride. Not with his voice, but with his acting skills — afterall, Neil Nitin Mukesh, son of singer Nitin Mukesh, wanted to become an actor since he was four years old!
Trooping in to see the ‘son rise’ the other evening, at a special screening of his debut film, were a number of guests and filmi buffs.

A D Singh came solo, but his hands were more than full with two popcorn cartons and a cuppa coffee.
Suniel and Mana Shetty, producer Romesh Sharma and his actor son Karan were among those from the film fraternity. Director of the film, Sriram Raghavan, was greeted warmly by the Mukesh father and son duo, but the most touching moment of all was when Neil gave his father a big kiss on the cheek followed by a tight hug.
Venugopal Dhoot was a surprise face here... nice to see him amongst the filmi junta instead of with the corporates. That’s the magic of films...
