It was a soupy afternoon at the
Soup Meal Replacer workshop
held at Borivali. Amongst the heavy showers that drenched the city, the taste of wholesome soups were enjoyed by the participants as they relished the variety of soups that they learned and were then offered to taste.
On the menu was
Burmese Khowsuey
,
Lentil and Rice Mulligatawny soup
, Noodle soup,
Corn and Mushroom Chowder
, Chicken
Noodle soup
which was actually vegan, Mexican Black Bean
Tortilla soup
, Tofu Laksa soup, Chickpea Vegetables soup and Thai Tom Kha soup.
The specialty of these soups was that there was not a single drop of oil and everything that was used was totally organic! The workshop had Madhura Vayal and Ruchi Singh conducting the session. The participants went back home with knowledge of making filing and wholesome soups which were fully organic too and it definitely enhanced the taste. They were eager to try their newly equipped knowledge to make some delicious soups for their family.
