Sonam Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut walk the ramp at the Signature International Fashion Weekend held in Mumbai

There’s nothing that gets a true-blue fashionista more excited than a show that brings together international fashion in a desi set-up. The Signature International Fashion Weekend, which took place in the city recently, is touted to be the only fashion platform in the country that brings the best of international talent to India. The event saw designers like Adam Saaks and Bora Aksu showcasing their works on the ramp, and Bollywood actresses Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Sarah-Jane Dias and international model Irina Shayk strutting their stuff in designer creations.

Speaking about the event, Ashok Capoor, President and Managing Director, United Spirits, said, “Signature is a globally acclaimed brand with an international image. Sonam, acknowledged globally as India’s style diva, and who is the face of Signature International Fashion Weekend, opened the evening by setting the ramp on fire in a Mark Fast creation. The evening also featured other international designers, such as Bora Aksu, Cute Circuit and many others showing their collections on international glam-queens such as Irina Shayk.”
