Soma Ghosh's musical treat to Mumbai

It was a musical treat for those who crave for a dose of the classical. Dr Soma Ghosh’s attempt to keep alive the flame of the torchbearers of tradition was an absolute success as a packed audience came to attend the show.
Besides veterans like vocalist Amarendra Dhaneshwar, sitarist Sahana Banerjee, tabla player Jabbar Khan, even the present generation including Kathak exponents Jayantimala and Rishika Mishra — daughter and granddaughter of Sitara Devi, Vishal Krishna grandson of Gopi Krishna, tabla players Nazish Khan, Aqid Khan, Prasad Padhye, violinist Manas Kumar, vocalist Suboor Khan among others performed for music aficionados.
Prominent among the guests were Manoj Tiwari, Sunil Pal and Sahil Multy Khan who graced the occasion to render their support to the worthy cause.
