It was an evening high on glamour as Volkswagen, one of Europe’s leading car manufacturers, announced the India launch of the 21st Century Beetle.
Launching the car was
Shahid Kapoor, who said, “As an automobile enthusiast, the Beetle is something that I grew up with because at the core of it lies fun and freedom. The 21st Century Beetle has style, sophistication, freshness and a charm that comes so naturally to it.
I’d like to congratulate Volkswagen India on this launch and wish them luck for a successful run in India.”
With a specially constructed stage and a fashion show, which had outfits designed by Kunal Rawal and inspired by the new car, the event was attended by Dino Morea, Nandita Mahtani, Rashmi Nigam, Jackky Bhagnani and Sonakshi Sinha and several others. Berlin-based DJ and producer, Thomas Gold turned the celebration up another notch by playing some of his most popular numbers. Added

With rounded yet masculine proportions, refined internal and exterior features, the new car also has a sliding panoramic sunroof. This car is exclusively available at Volkswagen Downtown Mumbai and Mumbai West.
