Shaarika's eighteenth birthday!

And that was more than evident at Ashoke Pandit’s daughter Shaarika’s 18th birthday celebrations at a cosy restaurant in Juhu on Thursday night. Her entire group of friends were present, and made the most of the night, laughing and chatting nineteen-to-the-dozen.Not to mention rocking the dance floor and how!
Among her group of buddies were Sangeet Sivan’s daughter Sanjna, Raju Kher’s daughter Vrinda, Ashok Saraf’s son Aniket and Ramesh Talwar’s daughter Tanya. Shaarika’s younger brother Raj took good care of the young ‘uns, playing host to the hilt even at this tender age.
Of course dad Ashoke and mum Neerja also looked after their guests, as some of Ashoke’s friends also dropped in to wish the birthday girl. Madhur Bhandarkar came in early as he was leaving for out of town.
Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra was heard talking to a fellow guest about how comedy is a big draw in Hindi cinema today. Anu and Shashi Ranjan along with daughter Anushka dropped by for a while, after which Anu headed straight to the airport to catch a flight to Bangkok for a wedding. Lyricist Sameer, producer-director Raman Kumar and Mrityunjay Pandey and his wife Ruchi were among the other guests present. Anoop Soni, who had a busy day, came in at the end to wish the birthday girl. With parties like these, Shaarika sure must be wanting to be 18 forever!
