The second edition of the

micro-fiction fan fest

was recently held in Mumbai. The last edition – which was held last year – was all about keeping up with micro-fiction as a genre, ways micro-fiction has helped create awareness about mental health, future of micro-fiction and more. This year, the theme of the fest was ‘Who moved my content?’ Speaking about the idea behind the same,

Hiral Malde

, one of the organisers of the fest, says, “In times of endless content creation, a lot of it is being consumed rapidly by the world. But at the same time, the digital sphere has become a virtual dumping ground for these content creators. No one will be content with the content, ever (Subtle pun intended).”

The Micro-Fiction Fan Fest

The first day saw a panel discussion with Roshan Abbas, Chintan Ruparel, Sonia Parasnis, Vineet Kanabar and was moderated by dialogue writer and producer, Sucharita Tyagi. There was an open mic session judged by writer Ishita Moitra and stand-up comic Punit Pania.
On the second day, there was a poetry writing workshop, while the closing performances saw spoken word performance, a Hindi poem recitation and a stand-up comedy act by RJ Glenn Saldanha.
