Sayali Bhagat at SNDT college in Mumbai

When actress and former Miss India Sayali Bhagat stepped into SNDT college at Juhu on Tuesday afternoon, she was taken aback by a ‘loud’ thumping surprise.
The girls were cheering, whistling and calling out her name to welcome her as a part of the Clean & Clear Bombay Times Fresh Face 2010 contest. High on energy and bubbling with enthusiasm, the stage was set for some high octane performances by the talented lot.
With RJ Anmol of Radio Mirchi holding the mike, contestants were soon at ease and ready to impress the judges with some outstanding performances (Radio Mirchi is the radio partner for the Fresh Face 2010 contest). Dancing was by far the most showcased talent, with Munni badnaam and Sheila ki jawaani being the favoured tracks. Shrunali Chandra and Khushbu Chauhan received a resounding applause for their acts from the audience. Prabjyot Sharma, the confident and composed contestant recited a poem and played her cards rather well.
Mansi Joshi designed a one-minute top on Sayali with her designing skills, using just a dupatta. Jill Shah composed a poem in French and then translated it for others in English. But when Ragishree S Newalker crooned on Iktara, everyone in the audience was on their feet, swaying to her tunes, including Sayali. Pooja Arora made a last-minute dash and requested for “just one minute” from the judges panel to show what she’s got. She rocked the floor on Sheila ki... and how.
The bonhomie was evident and selecting winners was tough. After calling seven shortlisted candidates, Prabjyot Sharma, Third Year Hospitality Management student, was declared the winner. Pooja Arora of FYJC was adjuged the first runner up, while Badrunisah Mithaiwala, FYJC, was selected as the 2nd
runner up.
