Sangram Singh and Payal Rohatgi's engagement ceremony in Ahmedabad

Sangram Singh and Payal Rohatgi got engaged on Thursday at Payal’s hometown Ahmedabad, in the presence of immediate family members.
The ceremony, which was to begin at 9 am, got delayed till 11 am as the ring selected by Payal for Sangram didn’t fit him. It turned out to be smaller! A hawan was organised for the occasion. Sangram’s parents couldn’t make it for the function though.
He reveals, “My mother’s old and she has been unwell. I wanted to fly them down to Ahmedabad but given her condition, it wasn’t the right decision. Payal and I will visit my village to seek blessings of my parents and the elders. I will treat them to a lavish party. Khaane ka dawat toh banta hai.”
