Richard Bona's album release bash in Mumbai

World music met funk and blended with jazz and soul at musician Richard Bona’s album release bash on Wednesday night.
Music lovers and musicians from all genres were there to sing along as Richard entertained them with his musical talent. The vocalist and bassist’s unique blend of native African idioms and Western influences with a touch of Shankar Mahadevan sure made for enthralling beats.
The melody continued late into the night at a swish after-party co-hosted by Mahesh Mathai where a number of musicians ate, drank, breathed and spoke music. Loy Mendonsa chatted with Shankar and Richard while Kunal and Gayatri Ganjawala caught up with mother-daughter duo of Ila and Ishitaa Arun.
