It was time to cheer and raise a toast as the Mumbai MCA Recreation Centre celebrated the success of Marathi International Film and Theatre Awards (MIFTA) recently.
Globally recognised as the only international awards function for Marathi film and theatre, it has crossed milestones every year. This dream has only become a reality because of the painstaking efforts put in by the Chief Promoter of MIFTA Mahesh Manjrekar.

Present at the event were many eminent names from the Marathi film fraternity including Medha Manjrekar, Padmaja Phenani Joglekar, Santosh Manjrekar, Siddharth Jadhav, Chandrakant Kulkarni, Manisha Kelkar, Aniket Vishwasrao, Manava Naik, Vaibhav Mangle, Sanjay Narvekar, Sushant Shelar and corporates like Umesh Rao, Sandip Basu, Dinesh Prabhu, Vaijayanti and Chintamani Kaigaonkar and others.
On this occasion, Rajiv Wagh, Vice President, MCARC said, “We are glad to host this event. MCARC has always held with pride the growing activities of MIFTA and salutes the genius of film and theatre at this special red carpet party.”
