The city’s in for a treat as Vongwong, the restaurant known for its South-East Asian delicacies, has recently announced its new menu.
A special dinner was hosted by the restaurant’s founder, Deepak Shroff, for santoor player Rahul Sharma and his wife Barkha and their friends, as a joint celebration of the new menu and the launch of Rahul’s new album, The Rebel which is the first ever ‘Santoor Rock’ album.“The new menu is also a work of art,” says Deepak, adding, “We’ve spent months in various countries in the Orient, hunting out these recipes.
Some of the dishes, like the black cod, the lobster and the wok-tossed asparagus are family secrets, passed down from mother to daughter.” The new menu allows you to travel to different countries from the comfort of your chair.
