Rahul Dev, Rabbi Shergill out to support PETA

That’s right – these are some of Delhi’s party animals, with the sort of animals they love.
“Pamela Anderson’s adopting a desi dog inspired me to follow suit. So I decided to get celebs together to lend their support for animals. This shoot is to propagate awareness and affection for them. The pictures will culminate in a calendar for the cause. PETA has been integral in creating such passion and they have also stepped up to support this,” says Sanjana Jon, who recently started this initiative of adopting and caring for desi puppies along with PETA.
“Mika has been exceptional in his love for animals and his farmhouse has every possible animal, along with his Indian puppy Cutie.
Singer Shibani Kashyap also supported the campaign wholeheartedly, while Amrita Kak and Riju Jhunjhunwala came forth and supported the shoot along with their adorable dogs,” she adds.
Other Delhiites supporting this cause include Atul Wassan, Alka Lamba, Rahul Dev, Mukul Dev, Rabbi Shergill, Kamal Sabri and Imran Zahid. Cricketer Murali Kartik has also recently done an ad for PETA, in which he depicts the plight of chickens.
