While his guests ‘clicked’ with one another at the preview of photographer-cum-filmmaker Rafeeq Ellias’s show of selected photographs at the Museum art gallery. And of course the guests would have clicked, for they were all from the same artistic fraternity! Good friend and co-photographer Ashok Salian came by, and spent a good amount of time observing the works and catching up with Ellias.
Gulzar and Jehangir Sabavala both made it to this one, and were most impressed by their portraits that were framed up there. Jamini Ahluwalia, not one to attend art events too often, was also spotted getting her dose of images that evening. Her golden chunky neckpiece was quite eye-catching, we must say. Farah Siddiqui was seen in conversation with good friend Anil Dharker, while other good friends from the colourful world of art, Sarayu Doshi and Pheroza Godrej, were also spotted discussing the photographs as were the mother daughter duo of Shanti and Sangeeta Chopra.
