The five-day long seventh edition of ‘Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival’ begins on May 25. ‘Seven Shades Of Love’ is the theme this year. Sir Ian McKellen along with director-producer Kiran Rao and actress Celina Jaitly will be present for the festival’s opening ceremony.

Close to 182 films from 53 countries will be screened as a part of the festival of which, 41 will compete for the awards. Todd Haynes’ Oscar-nominated movie, ‘Carol’, starring

Kate Blanchett

and Rooney Mara will open the festival while it will conclude with Those People by Joey Kuhn.
