And so, there was a puja organised at his Juhu residence. Jaya Bachchan was one of the first to arrive but ended up spending quite a bit of time with Chitrani Lahiri. A host of singers, too, made their presence felt while also seeking blessings from the almighty.

There was Alka Yagnik in a stunning orange saree while Sophie Choudry opted for a pink hued typical Indian ensemble.
TV star Shranbani Mukherjee came in with her daughter while Babul Supriyo, who came solo, was seen playing with little Swastik Lahiri. That the tiny tot is genetically inclined towards music was obvious from the way he kept reaching out for the tabla next to the statue of the Goddess and pretending to play it.
