A first of its kind, the most popular comedians of the country will come together on one platform, an otherwise impossible feat to achieve! So you get the best of each of them. Headlined by the inimitable Vir Das, hosted by Sorabh Pant, with music given by India’s premiere comedy-rock band, Alien Chutney, the festival will showcase the antics of India’s 10 finest home-grown English stand-up comedians.
Along with last year’s performers, this year, there will be new acts by fresh talent. The line-up includes Rohan Joshi, Varun Thakur, Anubhav Pal, Varun Grover, Kunal Rao, Rajneesh Kapoor, Tanmay Bhat, Aditi Mittal, Sapan Verma and Sahil Shah. Says comedian Rohan Joshi, “The roster for the two days is the USP of this festival; so whether you’re a fan of deadpan humour, musical comedies, spoofs or mimicry, you will get to witness humour in all its styles.” A merry treat for all comedy-lovers. With the festive season in full swing, now you have another great reason to celebrate.
