. The trio performed together at the

heritage

venue for the first time.

Expressed Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, "It's a very rare occasion and I'm very happy because Amaan-Ayaan recently received the Shanmukha Sangeetha Shiromani, a great encouragement for every young musician. It’s always an honour and pleasure to perform at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya… I performed here last December as well but this time it’s all the more special since I am performing with my sons! ”

Added Ustad Amaan Ali Bangash, "Every venue has its own vibes. When I perform at the museum, I get inspired as the audience's energy levels always differ. Today, the audience was very vibrant, supportive, loving and very enthusiastic.”

The audience enjoyed the two-hour performance of the Ustads as well as

Pandit Vijay Ghate

on the tabla and Sridhar Parthasarthy on the

mridangam

. To add to the melodious, musical evening, ace percussionist Taufiq Qureshi also joined in and with the soulful ragas, energetic jugalbandis and more, the museum came to life, quite literally!
