Music lovers in the city get a masterclass in mixing audio

got a rare opportunity to attend a masterclass about creating and mixing audio. The interactive session was conducted by multi-instrumentalist, engineer and producer,

Larry Thrasher

. He shared his thoughts and demonstrated how he believes you can approach a project, regardless of what is your role in it. The focus of the masterclass was to help music lovers learn how you can contribute to the creative and technical crafting of audio production. Larry shared, “I discussed how to manipulate and sort of shape sounds using waves plugin, which enhances your creative process and expands your horizon. It was nice to see a really interesting group ofstudents, who very informed and had knowledge about the tools that we use, the plugins and the processors. They seemed to be pretty on top of their game and it was an interesting crowd.” Participants too were equally excited to be apart of the process. was an interactive and an informative session. It was interesting to understand how plugin emulations of vintage hardware gear, etc are made. We also got insights on how they are redeveloping their existing old plugins and introducing new ones to make production/mixing a user friendly experience.”
