Hot picks at cool prices — that was the talk at this swanky SoBo restaurant the other night as Simritta Dhillon invited you for a glass (or two) of wine and hors d’oeuvres.
While she wore a purple dress she spelled out the colour palette this month: crisp white, rich tobacco brown, sharp black, graceful navy and warm khaki, with bursts of bright red, bold electric blue and emerald green.
And you saw a whole lot of colour around the buzzing island bar. Catching your eye was young businesswoman Devita Saraf in hot white pants.
Model Sarita Lal decided to let her cleavage do the talking while shoe designer Payal Kothari let her shoes do the talking, as she proudly showed off her pink and purple boots with matching fingernail polish.
Breezing in and out, mainly to record his attendance, was party animal Kishin Mulchandani. And walking in late, after another party, was Karan Johar, who was there not for the fashion but because of his passion for Japanese food.
