Mumbaikars marvel at the themed flower exhibition at Byculla zoo

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) hosted its 24th flower show in the city recently and the theme for this year was based on Indian classical music. The exhibition was a visual delight with musical instruments made from flowers on display. Along with musical instruments, the exhibition had a huge variety of flowers, vegetables, species of shrubs, flowering plants, fruit-bearing trees and exotic vegetables. More than two lakh people attended the exhibition, which was inaugurated by Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, Mayor of Mumbai and Ajoy Mehta, Commissioner BMC. Many actors from the film and TV industry like Bhagyashree, Sayaji Shinde, Varsha Usgaonkar, Jatin Pandit, Mohit Raina and yesteryear Bollywood actor Ranjeet were spotted at the event. The Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amruta Fadnavis was also present at the event.
