Maradona does a tango!

After making international celebrities like Shakira and Britney Spears dance to his moves, it was no surprise that Sandip Soparrkar was invited to teach a move or two to Diego Maradona and his girlfriend Veronica, while they were on a two-day visit to Kolkata recently.
And guess what, the ace footballer left Sandip thoroughly impressed! Recalls Sandip, ���My class with Veronica and Maradona was simply awesome.Veronica is a superb dancer and I think he is a better dancer than a footballer! The way he moves his feet in dance is worth a watch.��� In fact, says Sandip, it was more like a mutual teaching session. ���I was called for a tango and salsa class and he being from Argentina, tango is in his blood I guess. I taught them some moves and they showed me one too,��� he says.
Maradona, says Sandip, also has a great sense of humour. ���He would relate a woman doing the tango with a ball on the field. Now as a teacher, I���ve heard people comparing that to a flower or a feather but never a football!��� he laughs. The dance instructor also found out that Maradona has seen a couple of Bollywood films and finds Mallika Sherawat very sensual. Wonder if he���d want to do the tango with her!
