Manhattan Short Film fest in Mumbai

It might have been out of the way for many considering the Manhattan Short Film Festival took place at Cinemax in Andheri West, but that did not stop many south Mumbaiites from trekking all the way from town to the ‘burbs to catch some of the ten finalist short films!
Nisha Jamvwal took a two hour drive from her Cuffe Parade residence despite having a cold and fever (yet looking fresh and fit after her recent trip to South Africa).Hosts Neeraj Gaba and Susmita Dey bonded with chief guest Bhanu Athaiya who sat through all ten short films. Consul General of Argentina Fernando made his presence felt as well.
Of course, many of Mumbai’s beautiful people from the suburbs also showed up to celebrate short films and world cinema. Suchitra Pillai came dressed in a chic combination of kurta over jeans. Sangeeth Sivan came along with muse Sharbani Mukerji. Madhureeta Anand was there as well. Teejay Sidhu came with sister Devender (who is supposed to be making an entry into Bollywood) and Luke Kenny showed up much to the surprise of the hosts!
