Aditi and Arzoo Gowarikar (TOI photo)If Darsheel Safary managed to get the Bollywood cash registers ringing with his outstanding performance, then Sharad Goyekar seems to be following in his footsteps, doing the same for the Marathi film industry. The little boy was conspicuous by his absence at the special screening of hosts Azam Khan and Parvez Damanias film (Azam himself walked in post 12.30), but on-screen, the little boy stole the show.
Stealing the show at this suburban multiplex on Wednesday night though, were the mix of movie buffs who came to get a first look of this award-winning film. Bollywoods very own Marathi mulgi, Sonali Kulkarni; Tulip Joshi who spent the interval chatting with friends, Aditi Govitrikar who seemed to be having an important discussion with sister Arzoo; Siddharth Kannan who was in the company of buddy Shibani Kashyap; producer Ravi Rai and director Mangesh Hadawale chatted over cocktails, and Salil Ankola soon joined them. It certainly was a houseful show!
