KC to the fore!

Livewires — that’s what the KC collegians call themselves.
Kickstarting the Clean & Clear Bombay Times Freshface 2010 contest, they stood true to their reputation with a fresh and exciting display of talent. Full-of-energy and raring-to-go KCites ramp-walked, performed stunts, belly danced and sang Shakira and Rihanna jingles till celebrity judge model-actor Rajniesh Duggall clapped and sang aloud...all along.
Competition was fierce but great fun as contestants were narrowed down to top four names. Winners Akshata Parekh of first year BMM went the Bharatnatyam way on Anjana Anjaani number and Saurabh Pandey of second year BSc did a Chulbul on Dabangg hit.
First runners up Shrishti Shetty from BSc first year and Johan Daruwala of FYJC Science performed a jig and a song each, replete with latkas and jhatkas. Getting nostalgic about his college days, Rajniesh said, “This is absolutely rocking,” as he congratulated the contestants and posed for pictures with the giggling youngsters.
