'Calling Karan', hosted by ace film-maker
Karan Johar captivated listeners with interesting advice on modern day love and relationship issues, and garnered immense popularity during its first season. Now, the second season promises to be even more intriguing with edgier content; and is said to be even bolder than before!
For the launch of the second season, Ishq 104.8 FM curated an event called 'The Love Conference', which featured Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali,
Neha Dhupia, Ranvijay Singha in an intriguing panel discussion on modern day relationship issues. They all enjoyed a jovial banter on love, romance and the young generation's approach towards it. The audience had a gala time as Karan spoke about modern day love affairs and relationships in his inimitable style, interspersed with humour.
Commenting on the launch, Karan Johar said, “Ishq FM gave me an opportunity to be more accessible to the people. In '
Calling Karan season 2
', I am not playing it safe. I am saying things as it is and it is going to be bold. I would say people should call me because they are going through a crisis, just like how I'm going through a mid-life crisis. We can all solve our crisis together.”
Imtiaz Ali who was there to promote his upcoming film '
Laila Majnu
' enjoyed a fun rapid fire round of questions based on the film along with the director Sajid Ali. The evening ended with a hilarious stand-up act by Anirban Dasgupta and an unplugged musical performance by
Jonita Gandhi.
'Calling Karan season 2' is slated to go on-air from 13th August, Monday to Friday, at 10 am and 8 pm.
