John selling books!

Though this was an event to promote Sa Re Ga Ma’s Jhootha Hi Sahi, John Abraham took his jobfor the day — that of a salesman — very seriously. The actor along with Abbas Tyrewala and Raghu Ram coaxed customers at a suburban bookstore to buy more books. And those who bought some were excited to have John autograph their copies.
The actor himself walked out with a book when the event was wrapped up.It seemed like a guys’ day out as Pakhi and other girls from the cast couldn’t make it for the event.
‘Specs’ appeal: John may be sporting a geeky look, but the actor had eveyone under his spell as he talked, laughed and charmed all those present at the do.
Liar, Liar: John, who was to sell a book on Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy, said, “Today, is a good day not to lie, as it is Gandhi Jayanti.” Does that mean lying on any other day is alright, John?
