Japanese Ruka Restaurant and Lounge launched at Juhu in Mumbai

The launch of Japanese lounge Ruka in Juhu turned out to be a night of extravagance and glamour. Speaking on the occasion, Nihit Srivastava (Director India, Ramee Group of Hotels, Resorts & Apartments) said, “Ruka Restaurant and Lounge currently operates an outlet in Bahrain, which was established in 2013.
With the success of Ruka Restaurant in Mumbai, we decided to set a new trend in the hospitality space, creating an exceptionally unique offering where guests can unwind over premium drinks, molecular cocktails, bite-sized eats, eclectic music and great ambiance.The whole concept was to merge the pre-dining, dining and post-dining experience, creating a truly distinctive and transformative nightlife destination.” Some of the popular names in the TV, film and social circuits, including Sunidhi Chauhan, Shefali Jariwala and Parag Tyagi, Sayani Gupta, Smiley Suri, Terence Lewis, Aditya Narayan, Vikas Bhalla, Vinay Pathak, Siddharth Anand, Chetan Hansraj, Iqbal Khan, Ravi Dubey, Hitesh Sonik, Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra, were seen bonding with each other at the launch party. The ladies seemed to have the most fun, posing with quirky props and caption boards celebrating womanhood. Mixologists showcased elements of science and art using gels, air foaming, dehydration, and layering with tools like vacuum sealers, blow torches and nitrogen guns. There were a number of small bites, sushi, sashimi and gyozas doing the rounds, giving traditional Japanese cuisine a contemporary twist.
