Hot summer night at a SoBo

It was an intimate gathering on a hot summer night at a SoBo five-star for a glitzy cocktail party thrown by Sameer Nerurkar, MD of Samira Habitats and Ravi Shastri, for their close friends and associates who share a love for Alibaug.
And what an evening it was! Elegant, celebrating the good life in all its gracious glory and charm. As Sameer welcomed his guests, everyone made themselves comfortable with canapes and beverages of their choice.
The mood was mellow, and conversation ranged around what a prime destination Alibaug made for, given the hot summer days and nights we have been experiencing of late. Ravi busied himself with his favourite glass of red wine... or three and a Cuban cigar, a personal choice, as he talked with friends. His wife Ritu, suitably attired in a flowy pink ensemble looked fresh as a daisy. Gautam Singhania later made an entry and proceeded to make for the bar where he was joined by friend Vijay Mallya who, in characteristic fashion, made a late entry and proceeded to talk up a storm with his friends. Anand Mahindra who came with wife Anuradha was seen having a great time catching up with friends while Gautam was overheard praising the merits of a retreat in Alibaug.
The mood then shifted to talk of the good life, the weather and more. Also there were Pranab Datta, Abhay Rangnekar, Hemendra Kothari, Parvati Melton, Rajesh Dhume, Ashwini and Rahul Nerurkar, Bharat Shah, Dhananjay Mungale, Sachin Shah, Nrupal Patil, Kishore Mittal, Ramesh Venkat, Sourav Goswami, Anuj Ranjan, Romil Ratra, Sachin Sondhi, Mihir Chinai, Riyad Kundanmal and Sherwin Nazareth. As the night continued, it was clear that everyone had a splendid time.
