20 extremely talented artisans from across India displayed their exotic designs in Mumbai lately.

Yes, the guests shone in their afternoon best, but what also shone bright was the gold jewellery on display, and more significantly, the artisans from across the country who made these wonderful gold creations.
The occasion was the judging of 20 extremely talented artisans from across India, who had created exotic gold jewellery and other accessories.
How about a real gold shoulder pad, for instance!
Put together by Chhaya Momaya, it was a ���splendid afternoon���, as Pheroza Godrej put it. Over spicy pani-puri shots in a room overlooking the sea, guests including Punam Sinha, Bijal Meswani, Anju Taraporvala and Raghuvendra Rathore encouraged these unique artists and their works.
