Festive season gets 'play'ful!

Christmas and New Year are a week apart so what does one do in the middle? Well, our city celebs know it’s better to be out watching a play than sitting at home.
So out they headed to watch Raell Padamsee’s latest offering. The packed house came to watch Shabana Azmi on stage. They cheered and clapped as the talented actress took centrestage. Her performance was so impressive that Dr Indu Shahani even went backstage to congratulate her.Alyque Padamsee too met her.
Dolly Thakore, Bakul Patel, Additional Municipal Commissioner RA Rajeev, Javed Ahmed, French Counsel General Francois Pujolas and wife Mayumi, Naaz and Remu Zaveri, Lillette and Ravi Dubey, Anahita Uberoi and Vijaya Mehta were among those who gave her a standing ovation after the play eneded. Sharon and Shazahn Padamsee, who could not catch the show earlier, came to watch the show too. The smiles on their faces said it all as they came out from the auditorium.
