‘Dye’d and tested!

Ruby Jagrut���s exhibition the other day was zara hatke, ���coz, well, her works are zara hatke too.
The Ahmedabad-based artist was in Mumbai to exhibit her natural dye paintings, and the Art Desh gallery saw a mix of guests who came to see her interesting works and understand this art form better. From veteran National award winning artist Kiran Chopra to artists P Bendre and Ananya Banerjee, all appreciated the colours used by Ruby.
Vidya Malavade, a self-confessed art lover, said she supported these eco-friendly paintings and spoke about how essential it is that we all live in harmony with nature. Acclaimed theatre artist Divya Jagdale made a rare appearance and was most impressed with the effort that goes behind extracting colours from nature. A colourful affair, this!
