Designers shop in Mumbai

The magnificent seven ��� that���s what you could call these Delhi designers who came together to set up shop in the suburbs of Mumbai.
While Namrata Joshipura was missing in action (we hear she���s in New York), making their presence felt were Manish Arora in his kitschy best, Radhika Gupta who found good company in Neeru Kumar, Pankaj Ahuja donning the season���s fashion statement: a waistcoat, Sahibani Rastogi and Rajesh Pratap Singh.Guests were seen rambling around the rather large space divided into seven rooms, each with its own theme, d��cor and individuality.
It was champagne brunch time with cocktails concocted by Pushpanjali Banerji and hors d���oeuvres like feta cigar rolls, marinated crispy potato skin with cumin yoghurt dip, char-grilled cottage cheese bruschetta, spinach corn and cottage cheese quiche. Enjoying the food and drink and the designer dreams were the likes of model sisters Pia and Binal Trivedi and their model friend Bhavna Sharma, who spent considerable time bonding with Manish Arora, Randeep Hooda, Mumbai designers Rocky S and Arjun Saluja, Atul Kasbekar who chatted with Rajesh Pratap Singh, Tulsi Kumar and Bose Krishnamachari, who added more colour to the already colourful ambience with his bright yellow pants.
