Pictures literally worth a thousand words held the city’s swish set captive during an interesting evening organised by LG Electronics. The brand hosted an ‘India at 67’ theme party, which saw shots from the country’s nooks and corners taken by renowned photographers, including Atul Kasbekar, and displayed using the world’s first curved flexing smartphone, G Flex, and the LG curved OLED TV.

The G Flex features the rear key, first introduced in their G2 phone. Devoid of any buttons on the sides, there is less chance of accidentally powering off the phone and the convenience of using one’s index finger to adjust the volume when conversing is maintained. Among several new technologies, the smartphone is also the first to apply a “self-healing” coating on the back cover. The brand’s OLED TV (55EA9800) features unique four-colour pixel technology, a staggeringly thin display (just 4.3mm), a dramatic curved design and a vivid picture quality that is practically indiscernible from colours found in nature.
