The cricket fever in the city just refuses to cease!
On Thursday, a number of Bollywood stars, cricketers, corporate heads and others made their way to a Sobo restaurant to congratulate Yuvraj Singh for his World Cup achievement.
Hosted by Yuvi’s close friends Hemant Thacker, Rakshanda Khan and Kedhar Gawde — directors of Celebrity Locker, a concept bank and brand building outfit, which also manages Yuvi — it turned out to be a fun evening.Yuvi’s mother Shabnam joined in the merriment as did a number of sports stars such as Graeme Smith, Nathan McCullum, Robin Uthappa, Murali Kartik and Rohan Gavaskar. Sachin Tendulkar came with wife Anjali and was seen chatting with Nita and Mukesh Ambani. Anusha Dandekar, Arpita Khan, Mushtaq Sheikh and Arjan Bajwa were also present. Hemant said,“Yuvi had a colossal task ahead of him and has overcome his obstacles and reached the pinnacle only a few can achieve.”
