Bipasha Basu and Sonakshi Sinha at the opening of Marks & Spencer flagship store in Mumbai

Marks & Spencer-Reliance Retail JV celebrated the official opening of its flagship store in Bandra, Mumbai with a star-studded party and fashion show. The opening of the store was marked by the presence of Nita Ambani, Mukesh Ambani and Marc Bolland, Chief Executive, Marks & Spencer. Bollywood actors Bipasha Basu and Sonakshi Sinha were also present for the celebrations.
The store, which houses the world-first Marks & Spencer beauty department, witnessed Bipasha and Sonakshi making definite style statements in the latest M&S collection and Autograph range, respectively.Speaking at the launch, Nita Ambani said, “We are happy that Marks & Spencer-Reliance Retail JV has pioneered beauty and fashion in India and we are sure that these high quality, affordable offerings will cater to the evolving needs of the Indian consumers.”
Spread over 35,000 square feet across five floors, M&S Bandra is the JV’s largest store in India with the most extensive range of exceptional quality, stylish products. The evening also saw the best of fashion and style as leading models sashaying the store aisles in M&S’s trendiest range comprising Autograph, Rosie for Autograph, Limited Edition, Per Una Speziale and Savile Row Inspired.
