Ayesha Takia and Farhan Azmi's wedding in Mumbai

It was a special night for Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia and her beau Farhan Azmi as, after years of courting, they became man and wife.
And on Monday night, the couple celebrated their union with the special people in their lives. The grand reception to this much-awaited shaadi had a long list of guests that included Bollywood actors, actresses, directors and producers, of course, a number of politicos (courtesy Farhan’s father Abu Asim Azmi’s political lineage) and a sprinkling of Mumbai’s social set.And then there were the frenzied onlookers who waited outiside to get a peep of their matinee idols, who zoomed in to the well-decorated venue — the CCI stadium — in their posh cars.
Abu Asim Azmi and wife Zaheda were the perfect hosts as they welcomed their guests that included R R Patil, Rakesh Maria, Anil Deshmukh, Milind Deora, Kripashankar Singh, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Azeem and Sameena Khan, Raju and Esther Daswani (Esther looked different and beautiful in a sari), Kailash and Aarti Surendranath, the full of life Nauheed Cyrasi, Nandita Mahtani who walked in with designer friend Surily Goel and Nasir Jamal amongst others. Yes, it was a pucca dhoom-dhaam filled shaadi!
