The sea link gets all lit up to mark the day

As part of the celebration and commemoration of the Rose Day, the

CPAA

has planned to light up the

Bandra-Worli

Sea Link in red, from September 22nd to 24th. It is for the first time that the sea link will shine in red to show care and support to cancer

patients

who are struggling to fight the disease. The aim is to give them hope that they are not alone in their fight against cancer.

Said Anita Peter, executive director of the CPAA, “Every year, on September 22nd, the association organises and celebrates National Cancer Rose Day, to bring cheer to all the cancer patients in Mumbai. The objective is to motivate and involve public participation on a large scale in our cause of cancer awareness and care. It is to let people know how easy it is to show that you care.”
