An event to promote badminton

Getting sporty got a whole new meaning on Saturday evening as celebrities and professional badminton players got together for an interesting game of badminton.
Amod Tilak was one of the pros out there who set the match in motion with his game. Wife Aparna Tilak was happy to watch from the sidelines and cheer for him and others like Shaina NC and Aparna Popat. Shaina traded her sari for track pants and teamed up with Aparna.The ladies were obviously enjoying the game.
Aftab Shivdasani was a tad disappointed as he came all dressed up in his kit but couldn’t play the match as it got a little late. But the good sport that he was, he stayed behind to felicitate the winners. The match, that was played to promote badminton amongst the youth was much appreciated by all those who came to attend it.
