Rajev Paul’s book of poetry — Gitanjali presents Mumbai, Mohabbat and Tanhai — captures the vibrancy of this city and the loneliness that one feels even in a crowd. However, on Thursday Rajev was not alone, as friends from telly and film industry joined in to celebrate the success of his book. Dressed in a blue suit Rajev walked in with
Farhan Akhtar, who co-incidentally also wore a kurta in the same shade.
They started off the event clarifying that their colour co-ordinated outfits was not intentional. The humour was constant through the evening, where Rajev’s circle of friends, colleagues and family, which included Sushil Sharma, Vice President – International Business, Gitanjali Group, Raghu Ram, Lillette Dubey, Umesh Pherwani, Simple Kaul, Raja Bundela and Satish Kaushik, were all praise for his works. Farhan could not help but pipe in adding that he seemed to be the only one aware of Rajev’s talent for poetry.
