There’s unity in numbers. And a whole lot of learning and gaining ground, too. That was exactly what was in store at the first-of-its-kind event, Roar-Rise of a Rebel, that saw close to 500 women entrepreneurs coming together to share their experience in the industry. Curated by three women entrepreneurs, Mannat K, Medha Mukherjee and Rashi Menda, the event was held at CoWorks, Worli.

Actress Richa Chadha was present. Tanvi Johri and supermodel Diva Dhawan who talked about empowerment through meaningful work, Kubra Sait also shared her take on what does success look like and Gabriella Demetriades spoke beautifully on how hustling is overrated, and mindful work is needed to succeed.
The discussions focused on legal rights, social media and a career that feeds the soul while being profitable as well as a few on cyber security.
Says Rashi Menda, “Roar is a brainchild of three entrepreneurial and independent women who have been challenging the paradigm, upending business and had a common vision to have a new tomorrow where women are defining their future on their own terms. Being young women entrepreneurs, they all struggled to find a safe and conducive platform where women like them could share their learning, learn more about the struggles and triumphs of other like-minded women or even collaborate. It connects
millennial women with consumers, game changers, thought leaders and entrepreneurs. Where they connect, collaborate and learn from one another. We hope will have a community of 10,000 women by this year-end.”
This extravaganza ended on a merry note with bartender Amy Shroff showcasing her flair with drinks.
