Aadhi Abaadi awards in Delhi

In order to honour women achievers, the fourth edition of the Aadhi Abaadi awards were held in the capital recently.
With song and dance performances by various artistes, the awards night was also quite entertaining. Veteran actresses like Rohini Hattangadi and Zarina Wahab were also honoured at the ceremony. Hattangadi recalled the time when she was a student at NSD. “Delhi was my karmabhumi when I was associated with NSD.It always feels nice to come to the city,” she said.
TV actors Mitali Nag of Afsar Bitiya fame and Kratika Sengar of Punar Vivah were also present to receive the awards. However, Olympics bronze medallist MC Mary Kom, who was one of the awardees, could not make it to the event.
