It was a heady mix of fashion, music and stars as Trussardi — the Italian luxury brand that stands for style and sophistication, launched Tru Trussardi Eyewear recently. At a glamorous do in the city, the brand was launched with Anushka Manchanda setting the stage aflame with some cool rock numbers along with host Shveta Salve. Beige, white, brown and black dominated the colours, and style reached new heights as model Sahil Shroff and actor Rannvijay showcased the men’s sunwear collection ‘Urban Dandy’ — both in Rock Dandy frames which are bigger and with studs and the Classic Dandy elegant retro shapes.
Kangna Ranaut was the showstopper, who showcased various models of the women’s sunwear collection under the ‘Urban Wild Glam’ theme. The Exotic City style sunglasses feature oversized, elegant and expressive shapes, with exotic snake skin patterns. Present at the launch were Masato Nakagaichi, from Charmant Inc.
Japan and Deepak Panchamia, Managing Director of Pearl Enterprise, the company that introduced the brand in India through distribution rights. Panchamia commented, “Trussardi stands for new lifestyle, allure and high aspiration. We are sure that the eyewear will be well received by the swish and stylish of the country.”
