A grand Nikah!
It was the nikaah of the year with Shazli tying the knot with Zaman.
The lawns of ITC Hotel, The Maratha were converted into a beautiful wedding venue. It was fascinating to see beautiful women in sarees and ghagra cholis and handsome men in suits and sherwanis walking in from separate entries and having separate sitting arrangements.
Nasser Jamal and his sons played the perfect hosts, while Shazli’s sisters and mother looked after the guests in the women’s section. It was interesting to see a mixed bag of guests Amar Singh, Kripashankar Singh, Abu Azmi and son Farhan, cop Ahmed Javed, Asif Bhamla, actress Suhasini Mulay, Kunal Kapoor, Gul Panag, Asheem Ghosh, Mahesh Bhatt, Suresh Tapadia, Mushtaq Ahmed, Baba Siddqui, Nadeem Javed and Amit Deshmukh politics, business and
glamour all making their presence felt. The cuisine was specially prepared by chef Imtiaz Qureshi.
