A glamourous chef party!

A number of Mumbai’s beautiful people joined the chefs in celebrating their restaurant Goa Portuguesa’s 19 lip smacking years of existence. Along with their sons Sudeep and Acash, the duo played hosts with the most as they welcomed their guests to a night full of food and fun.The celebrations were augmented by the restaurant being the recipient of the ‘best food chain’ award by the Lions International club.
Leena Mogre really looked like she practiced what she preached: she looked fit and fabulous as ever in a green skirt that looked as if it was spray painted on her. Rohit and Manasi Joshi Roy had smiles pasted on their faces from beginning to end; Rohit talked about his upcoming films and how he admired Deepika Padukone’s star quality. Kiran Juneja and Ramesh Sippy were seen enjoying the starters even as Roopkumar Rathod and Bharat Dhabolkar and Ananya Dutt made frequent trips to the bar. Nutritionist Anjali Mukherji was also spotted here, making one of her rare social appearances.
Anu Tandon, Dilip Piramal, Dr Sandesh Mayekar and Jaideep and Seema Mehrotra were among the others present. Aparna Tilak and her husband Amod chose to shake a leg for a while, adding to the excitement already building up in the room with the special thanksgiving wine smoked turkey.
All in all, a sumptuous time was had by all. Going by the Awchats’ saying: Atithi devo bhava the customer is God!
