Now, here’s where young collegians merged innovation with creativity. And this sure was a fabulous confluence!
Fun and excitement was in the air at Alchemy 2011 — a college festival put together by fashion-designing students. The collections were inspired by distinct identities and faraway destinations.
Peppy beats rocked the ramp as the audience put their hands together for the pretty, cool and wearable cuts at the show that was choreographed by Achla Sachdev.

The cane headgear, purses unfolding into small sitting stools and the funky helmets made for an interesting collection.
Hand-painted Radha-Krishna ensembles, in black and white was intricately woven to form some lovely creations. Models including PFMI-International 2010 Neha Hinge, Simran Kaur Mundi, Shriya Kishore and others walked the ramp as teachers, parents and students cheered and clapped hard.
