The desi quotient at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival has been high this year, with Bollywood stalwarts including Shekhar Kapur, Govind Nihalani and Subhash Ghai joining regulars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mallika Sherawat at the French Riviera.
Assocham, which has set up the Indian Pavilion at the film festival and is also ensuring greater participation from the industry there, hosted the India Party Night at Cannes over the weekend.

Designer Rohit Bal was spotted there with Ghai, while Prasoon Joshi chatted with Nihalani. SM Khan from the directorate of film festivals and Jerome Paillard, the head of the Cannes Film Market, were also seen interacting with guests at the do. FTV chief Michel Adam too came to the bash.
